Just gonna stand there and watch me burn
Who: Sokka, Hawky, Open to anyone who wants to help put out the fire
What: There's a fire in Neon City that needs putting out, and an injured water tribe boy that needs help
When: May 12th, right after these posts
Where: Neon City
There were those that had said they were coming to help, and even Hawky has said that he shouldn't give up just because his shop was burning down. He had only been reluctant to accept help after his post because he had realized just how bad the damage was after the fact, and thought there was no point in trying. But with people insisting they try... he couldn't say no to that. Especially since he himself needed medical attention of some kind, and with his sister not around he didn't have many other options.
So as night fell on Neon City, Sokka attempted to start saving what he could. Hawky's digimon type was mostly useless at that point, and he was still injured, but he managed to find a bucket and start hauling water to the burning building by hand. He'd only stopped long enough to tear his burned sweatshirt in to strips to wrap around his burns.
It was painful to be carrying that weight, but right then he was ignoring the pain in favor of trying to do something. As he threw the water at the burning front door, he could only hope that help would get there soon. This wasn't something he could do on his own, even if he was damn well going to try.
