Fate was working in her office, going over various reports. It wasn't that things weren't busy, they'd just hit a bit of a routine period. Fate supposed she should be thankful, but she worried that this was merely the calm before the storm...
That was when she heard the buzz of her intercom.
"Fate-san, there's someone here to see you," said Elecmon's voice.
Fate blinked. "I wasn't aware I had any appointments scheduled at this time."
"You don't."
Fate blinked again, then sighed. "Send Nanami on in, then," she said, closing her current file and sitting back in her chair.
