What: Beach filler episode: Fun in the sun.

Where: Axoryi Beach

Miles of golden sandy, crisp clean oceans. What's not to love?

It's you're vacation, take charge, seize the day! Why not try your hand at surfing? Or maybe a game of beach Volleyball ~~ride into the danger zone!!!!~~

Have a BBQ, or maybe just catch up on some reading while you relax.

Unsurprisingly Onizuka was hungry. He was after all...Onizuka.

He waded into the surf with a sharpened pole like a makeshift spear a big grin on his face looking for all the world like a fool who was more likely to stab his own foot then catch any fish.

Goblimon thought as much and was sitting on the shore watching him from under an umbrella with a cold beer in hand. Guarding the cooler.

The bleach blond teacher lit up a smoke and slid on his sunglasses like some kind of ocean god.

A fishing spear? Fishing with tools is for wimps! Real men use their hands. Or try to at least. Apollo swims by underwater in a pair of bright red trunks and lunges for a fish. He manages to grab it but it manages to slip out of his grip. Annoyed, he surfaces for air close to Onizuka.

Onizuka burst out laughing a big booming laugh.

"Bawhahahaha! That was pretty good! But those guys are fast! You gotta play to your strengths." He explained twirling the spear lightly.

Apollo wasn't quite sure if Onizuka was laughing at him at first, but his words sounded more like a compliment, so he let it slide. Apollo getting anything approaching a compliment was a rare thing.

"I've caught 'em before. Usually not when I'm in the water already though. You just have to be patient and move fast."

As if to demonstrate, he took a deep breath and slipped under the water, sitting on the bottom. A minute passed, then another. Staying there motionless like that, the fish cautiously began to return, not realizing that a predator was in their midst. Another minute passed, and the fish were swimming closer. Another minute and...

His hand shot out to grab a fish that had swum too close. His grip held this time and he burst out of the water with it flailing in his hand. He grinned at Onizuka.

"See? Told you."

Without waiting for an answer he shoved it into his mouth and bit its head off.

Onizuka seemed to have vanished by the time he surfaced triumphantly.

An explosion like a depth charge went off right behind Apollo and Onizuka roared heroically. The goggles on his face made him look more like a space alien as he held aloft his spear with three wriggling fish on it.

"I AM AQUAMAN!" He cheered like the dork he was.

Apollo had only a moment to realize that his audience had left before he was startled by the sound behind him. He spun with a muffled yell of surprise to face Onizuka.

"Mut muz mat!?"

Having a fish tail sticking out of his mouth didn't help his communication skills any.

"Aquaman you know? Hero of the deep? Champion of Atlantis?" He sighed shaking his head disappointed, "Kids today. I mean he's not one of the best superheroes but he's still iconic."

With the fish wriggling on his makeshift spear he began trekking back to the shore "The King of Shonan beach forgives your ignorance this time!" He laughed out loud.

Apollo tilted his head back and swallowed the rest of the fish in his mouth, somehow managing not to choke.

"Superheroes? Like from comic books? I haven't seem many of those. Baron said they don't make as many as they used to, and all the old ones are hard to find."

"I think you're on the wrong beach then, King."

If Onizuka heard the last part he ignored it and proceeded to a fire pit with what looked like a stretch of chain link fence over it as a grill. Nearby a chain link fence was also missing a piece which indicated he was probably the reason it was there.

"This is the life!" He declared like it was to be written.

If he noticed the damage to the fence he didn't say anything.

"You could live this way most of the year if you wanted to."

"Well yeah I could if I wanted." He agreed turning to glance at the boy, "But see I've got something even better waiting for me back home. A beautiful wife, a brilliant daughter, and a job I love." He grinned cheerfully.
