What: Sadamitsu wants to fight.

The group who had been using the gym were finally done with their...whatever that was...and now Sadamitsu stood in the middle of the room and waited for his first challenger. He was vaguely aware that going up against multiple opponents in a row might be a bad idea, especially with the caliber of some of the fighters here, but he wasn't worried, only confident and excited.

As usual, Kulon and Junk sat on a bench to the side and Sadamitsu was wearing his newly cleaned and repaired white fighting outfit.

Kazma slid into his own stance, raised his arms and made the usual; 'come at me' motion with his hand. It was on.

Sadamitsu charged forward with his sword raised and brought it down at Kazma.

Kazma quickly jumped to the side, dodging the sword and counted with a knee aimed for Sada's gut.

Sadamitsu twisted out of the way, Kazma's knee brushing his coat, and swung his sword up towards Kazma's side.

Kazma brought his knee back down and tried to jump back but he hesitated, his eye twitching just before the sword hit. He grunted, the blow making him side step. He tried to grab the sword and kick out at Sadamitsu, aiming for his gut again.

Sadamitsu frowned slightly. Not at Kazma grabbing his sword, even though the time it took him to pull it out of Kazma's grasp left him open to taking the kick to his gut, but rather that Kazma had taken his hit. Had he hesitated for a second there? There wasn't time to think about it though, and he twisted away with the blow, planting his feet and slashing upwards at the farther away of Kazma's armpits, trying to force him into either dodging to be farther away from him, or to move closer, in which case Sadamitsu would bring the sword back down at his opponent.

The rabbit was able to jump back just in time, spinning to avoid the attack. He landed with a slight wince, his left leg bending slightly, giving out some. He recovered easily enough though it left him open for a second.

Sadamitsu shot forward, hoping to take advantage of the opening with a straight thrust at Kazma's stomach.

Kazma's eyes went wide when the sword tip hit him hard in the gut. He groaned as he leaned forward, teeth grinding together as he tried to stay standing. He looked up at Sadamitsu with a slight glare. He forced his body to move and preformed a spin kick, hoping to hit the human's hands and disarm him.

Sadamitsu pulled back quickly, but not fast enough to avoid the kick. He didn't drop the bokuto when his hands were hit, but he was left weakly gripping it in one hand, and would find it harder to defend himself while he adjusted his hold on it. The slight numbness in his fingers certainly wasn't helping with that either.

The rabbit jumped into the air and pulled back a fist. Seemed he was going to try a downward punch at Sadamitsu.

Sadamitsu didn't move, instead bringing his arms up to block. When the punch hit it sent shocks through his arms and he fell back, trying to flip Kazma over his head in the process. He was trying to make it so that they would both hit the floor on their backs rather than ending up with Kazma on top of him.

Kazma had not seen that coming. His own weight became his enemy as he was flipped over Sadamitsu and hit the ground, hard. The air was forced from his lungs as he laid there for a moment, trying to pull air back into his body though coughs and gasps.

Sadamitsu stood up and turned to face Kazma, bokuto held at the ready. He breathed heavily as he waited for his opponent to get to his feet. Sadamitsu wasn't trying to take him out, he was trying to fight him, and wanted the fight to last as long as possible.

Kazma rolled over and pushed himself up. His breathing was heavy as well and his arm seemed to be shaking from the weight. He got to his feet and raised his arms again, readying his stance. He felt his chest tightening and swallowed hard.

Sadamitsu frowned slightly as Kazma stood but said nothing. It was up to Kazma if he wanted to stop. He knew that he had made a comeback from that kind of state before, so there was no reason Kazma couldn't too.

Once Kazma looked ready, he charged forward again, swinging in at Kazma's side.

The rabbit dropped low to the ground when the strike came, the wooden sword whizzing over his hair and hit his ears. He winced but took the pain as he threw a punch for Sadamitsu's stomach.

Sadamitsu didn't get out of the way in time and took the hit. As he doubled over he brought the pommel of his sword down at Kazma.

Kazma looked up just as the sword came down. He didn't have a change to actually attempt a dodge. The pommel hit him square between the eyes and the rabbit fell back with a yelp, hitting the ground hard with a thud.

Sadamitsu caught a glimpse of where he had hit Kazma as he bent over and cringed inwardly while he staggered for a bit. Once he was done he came over.

"You still all here?"

Kazma blinked up at him for a moment before he gave a nod. He could barely feel like he could move anymore. He tried anyway; attempting to push himself up with his hands. He hissed and stopped, pain shooting up his side. He looked down, spying something red staining his fur from under his vest. He moved it, exposing a cut that had reopened that had been hidden under his clothes.

Sadamitsu saw the cut too and looked confused.

"When did that happen?"

The rabbit swallowed and bit his lip. It was the Lopmon finally spoke up. "During his last battle at the Death Arena, last night." Kazma looked to Lopmon then back to Sadamitsu and gave a nod.

"The Death Arena? You been fightin' there?" He paused. "Ain't the fights there to the death usually?"

"Usually. Though we go up against digimon only so far so it's been to the tama or knock out. They accept knock outs too, which is what we aim for." Lopmon continued to speak in a more neutral tone than her usual excited one when it came to fighting. The rabbit remained silent and held his side.
