Who: Katz, Hoshi, Hao, Captain Marvelous, Silver, partners, and a surprise guest.
What: A Salvage mission with a plot twist~
When: [Backdated] April 21st, 2012
Where: Axoryi docs and then to the crash site.
Katz stood on the dock, waiting for the arrival of his salvage team and ship. If everything went according to plan, he'd walk away from this venture with enough raw materials for his next big project. Nothing too difficult really. He just had to make sure everyone kept their ends of the bargain; something not all that hard to do.

He opened his pocket watch and looked at the time. It had been a few hours since his transmission and the crew should be arriving shortly. All according to plan.

Soon overhead, there came a large, flying red ship. It distinctly looked much like a pirate ship, and... did I mention it was red? It's very red.

The ship came to a hovering halt near and well above Katz on the docks. Massive anchors fell into the water, splashing up great amounts of water.

The bottom of the ship opened up, and two ropes came flying down.

Sliding down the ropes were a man and a Digimon. The most distinct thing about the man's dress was that he looked like he'd stepped out of something between a modern day clothes store, and the wardrobe of a classical pirate from literature. The Digimon was a Falcomon, and obviously ill accustomed to flying about in this body.

Both hit the docks feet first, though Marvelous did it a lot more casually. Machalcon slipped a bit on the now drenched ground, grabbing onto the back of Marvelous' coat for support.

"Yo," the man said, before shoving Machalcon off him. "Katz, I'm guessing?"

Also to join was an incoming streak of bright yellow light zooming closer and closer through the horizon. As she was edging near the merging group, she decided to make her landing on the coast, which caused some sand to pick up and dust over a couple of on-goers.

As the woman came closer to Marvelous and Katz, it looked like she belonged in Ancient Japanese times as she donned her white haori and red hakama with three spirits trailing behind her and Hogosha, her Tailmon, on her shoulders.

When she made enough distance to be considered appropriate, she bowed her head at the man and the cat.

"Hello," Hoshi said, straightening up once more. "I take it this is the place to be?"

Not long after the DYNAMIC ENTRIES(!) continued with a vaguely plane shaped, red being coming flying in at high speeds. Said plane vanishing in a plume of flame as a young man and his digimon came falling out of the sky. The Flamedramon hit the ground in a crouch with a burst of flame, which was snuffed out by his Tamer as soon as he had landed to prevent the possibility of it spreading out.

"Oh now this is a surprise, hello Hoshi~!"

Hao vaulted over the back of his digimon to stand in front of it.

And with all those big dramatic entrances Long John Silver felt overshadowed and chuckled approaching at a casual stroll. His mechanical leg proved a useful excuse as his Digimon partner a Gomamon followed behind balancing a picnic basket on his head.

The red feline remained silent through the arrival of his crew. He snapped his watch shut and placed it inside his jacket. He cleared his throat and gave a small clap to them all.

"Impressive. Seems I've gained myself very talented company." He chuckled and looked to them all. "And to answer all questions in order, yes I'm Katz and this will be our vessel. It belongs to Captain Marvelous as he will be acting captain of the ship and I acting leader of the salvage. I see everyone is accounted for. Any last minute business anyway wishes to discuss should be done now before we depart."

Marvelous gave Katz a smirk, flipping out a cell phone-like device.

"I'm good with everything so long as no one decides to get stupid," he said, tapping a couple of keys on the device.

Several more ropes dropped down around him, and he motioned towards the ship with his head. "No sense waiting around otherwise, eh?"

Hoshi decided to wave when Hao and the others came over to them as she gave a sharp nod to Marvelous.

"Fear not, no one will," she said with a gentle smile, though she had something else in mind as far as following Katz's orders here. If there was one thing that rang true from her previous self, it was that she still had a large sense of justice.

Though, when the ropes came down, she decided to start her climb up to the ship.

"I don't usually make a habit of being stupid," Hao said to Marvelous. Hao seems pretty flippant right now but he's planning to get this done as quickly and simply as he can.

The shaman waved a hand to his digimon to stay, while Hao grabbed a rope. Seemed he was going to be nice enough to wait for Silver. Big guy with a robot leg, might need help getting on the flying ship right?

"Ah this takes me back." Silver mused as he stored the basket he had brought with him in his D-reader. He gave the rope a good solid tug with his mechanical arm letting go and flipping the device about for a different attachment before he set to follow the rest of them. Despite his significant size and how soft and round he looked there was surprising strength in his arms as he hauled himself upwards arm over arm, legs hanging listlessly beneath him.

His Gomamon was of little help in the matter as it clung to his back like a childs plush backpack eyes clamped shut determined not to look down.

"Nothing of the sort will happen, I guarantee it." Katz eyed the rope and smirked. He pulled out his own D-Comm and activated the materializer. A gun shaped device appeared in his hand. He aimed it up and fired, a small grappling hook fired up and hooked itself to the railing of the ship. He grabbed his partner's hand and pulled the trigger again. The duo zipped up and over the railing as the cord retracted. Ropes were so uncouth, he couldn't just climb up now could he?

Heh. "Climb."

Anyone who grabbed hold of a rope would find themselves pulled straight up into the Gokai Galleon's hull. A quick trip through some halls and you'd find yourself in a spacious combination living quarters/dining area. There were also several large screens showing a map of their current area, and a control console for said screens. Beside that was a door that lead ahead into the control room.

"Make yourselves comfortable," Marvelous said, striding through the area before swinging around to sit in a seat at the center. Machalcon scrambled up beside him. "Just not too comfortable. You won't be here long. Navi?"

Sitting on the control console was a mechanical, bird-like being who lifted one of her small wings. "Roger! Course set!"

When Hoshi found that she was being propelled straight up to the main area of the Gokai Galleon, she couldn't help but let out a small, but loud, "whee!" when it was happening. Even though she was older now, she still indulged in some pleasures that her younger self would.

"Got it," she said, giving a nod to Marvelous as Reiko fluttered behind her and went to sit on her shoulder, Tailmon not too far from her as she took a seat on the couch and waited for everyone else to settle.

Hao shrugged as he went up on the rope, his Fladramon leading to grab the tail end of one and be pulled up. The shaman patted his grumbling digimon, who seemed to have been complaining about how he almost didn't get on.

"Quite a cute little bird you have," Hao stated, approaching Navi and looking it over.

Silver whistled impressed with the set up. "This here looks to be more cruise liner then workmens ship. Like a hammer made out of polished silver." He chuckled at his own joke as he shuffled about the room at his own pace admiring one of the screens. While no stranger to technology Silver was sure he'd never get used to the stylistic differences between this world and his own.

"Impressive." Katz quickly looked over the room and walked over to the map screen. He looked it over, noting the display before looking at his own nails.

"This trip should be fairly quick. It will be the salvaging that will take the majority of our time."

"I am not a bir-" Navi started to retort in Hao's general direction, before Marvelous' voice interjected.

"It won't take any time to get there, no. That'll shave a lot of time off your estimate. Still, question is... how do you plan on doing the excavating?"

He paused, and glanced at Silver.

"Believe me, though. This is hardly a cruise liner."

"If it's needed, Hao and I could blow a hole through whatever needs to be excavated," Hoshi simply said as if it was common knowledge.

"Also, to note that if there are any creatures other than digimon, Reiko here can alert them to move out as quickly as possible so that we don't cause long lasting damage to their homes," she said, motioning to her nature spirit who raised her hand in a friendly wave.

"I think he means more how do we get down there, Hoshi," Hao commented, poking Navi in the head before wandering away from it.

"And if that is what he means, I can get down fine with Spirit of Fire, you four will have to figure something else out," The shaman waved his hand dismissively. He figured they'll be alright, after all you don't go into something like picking up lost cargo unprepared.

Silver turned his attention back to the main group listening to them discuss their abilities. If asked he'd tell them but for now he fell silent and turned to look at Katz. Surely the man who had brought them all together had already had some thoughts on how to go about the excavation process.

Katz listened to them all and took note of Hao and Hoshi's statements. They seemed to possess powers of their own, which was made obvious by their arrivals. They would be useful but he wanted the ship intact. He had pushed their meeting back a few hours for several reasons, one of them was supply retrieval.

"I already have a plan. We will use technology to raise the ship up to the surface. Then we will need to gain entry into the ship and transfer the cargo between the damaged this to this one. Simple."

"Sounds simple enough, let's just hope it stays that way," Marvelous noted. By this point the Galleon was already well on its way. "This thing can't be too easy, or else the owners would have already been looking at doing the same thing."

He glanced at Katz. He wondered where this guy had gotten the tech to do this, but he wasn't going to ask questions. Yet.

"If we can do it with the ship intact though, then yeah, let's go with that. Blowing the thing to pieces might blow the cargo, too, and then we wouldn't get a thing."
