Who: Hikari-Asakura Hoshi. Open.
What: Reforging bonds.
When: April 1st, midday.
Where: Funbari Onsen, Tetha.
Being associated with a younger version of herself was certainly something. And, to her, it was quite unexpected that she was here before and had met so many others in the past. However, that part wasn't something she wasn't going to shy away from.
After she made her post, she would be found on the deck of the inn, legs folded underneath her as she had a pot of tea with a couple of cups next to her in case if others really would show up.
For now, though, she was content with just waiting and watching everything go by almost without a care in the world.
"I do hope that at least someone would show. It'd be a waste of good tea otherwise, hm?"

Yet, she was ready to try anything.
"Don't apologize," she quickly replied, shaking her own head as she went to sit down. While she poured the tea, she gave Greg a nod, smiling a bit. "As with shaman training, right? I noticed that you had quite a remarkable level of furyoku to you."

"Yeah... I learned that from--" God, awkward, "Her. I was pretty much an average guy when I showed up here. Nothin' special about me."
no subject
Oh, Greg. Greg, Greg, Greg. Hoshi couldn't help but let out a soft chuckle as she shook her head.
"Of course everyone and everything is special in their own way. Why, if no one was, the world wouldn't be such a beautiful place to begin with, hm?" she offered lightly while she brought her cup to her lips to take a small sip.

"Okay, gimmie some credit here. Compared to the people here I'm about as normal as they come. My adopted family is made up of advanced androids, my son is from a different version of my own world, and not the long ago one of my adopted sisters was living with a small furry alien who apparently packs enough fire power to take down half a city block without even trying," he explained. It was justified, really. Even with Hoshi's training, he was still pretty average compared to the rest of the crazy world they lived in.
"Really, though... I was in trouble. I couldn't stop gettin' my ass handed to me whenever there was a fight. She helped me. A lot. I probably wouldn't be sitting here today if it wasn't for the training I went through."

"So I see. That's pretty heartwarming to hear, I'll have to say - that bonds can be made so easily here," she commented, knowing that it was that fast back home.
"Either way, are you still in need of a teacher, and if so, would you like for me to continue where she left off? I know that things here aren't picture perfect and that there's work still to be done. I'd be happy to do it if you're willing."

But it couldn't hurt, right? He was still doing weapons training with Vent at least.
"Eh. I don't see why not..." he answered, giving a shrug after sipping his tea some.

"However, is there anything further you want to let me know in which she helped out with? If you feel it's going to take a long time to explain, don't worry - I have plenty of time."
no subject
"Well uh, she was involved with DATS. We're basically the peace keepers and police force here. I work in the investigations department here, but that doesn't stop me from having to get involved in fights."
no subject
"I think Norstein-san said the same thing. I've contacted him already about potentially rejoining the force. As for the fights, have you a weapon of any sort?"
no subject
He trailed off, smiling sadly, but didn't elaborate on why his expression changed so suddenly.
"My wife's Desert Eagles. Pretty powerful guns alone, but with Digisoul it's almost like firing a miniature canon."
no subject
"And she was sent home, too?"

"Well, if I could come back, who's to say she can't?"
no subject
"Getting my hopes up now would just depress me. I still have a son to raise. I have to focus on that."
no subject
"Well, I have faith in you to do so. Everyone's a lot stronger than they give themselves crediit for."
