Who: Fifi, Shu, Meg, Partners?
What: Their love will bring the world crashing down
When: Feb 15th, evening
Where: Poyi Mountains

Heavy.

The first thought that slid through Fifi's mind as it surfaced from the swirling darkness was that she felt very heavy. She had sunk into something because it was clinging to her skin and clothes.

She was cold...and her face twitched as a drop of water fell onto her cheek cold and hard enough to feel like a pebble that exploded upon contact.

Another, and then another. Little pips of rock hard water peppering her face until her eyes snapped open.

Her mind clawed through the fog desperately as she closed her eyes again to protect from the abrasive water. Her first thought was to be grateful she wasn't as wicked a witch as the one from Oz or she'd be melting a horrible death right now.

Death...

That word brought her memories back in a tidal wave that crashed into her and would have knocked her off her feet if she wasn't already laying on her back. The fight, the panic. A sacrifice, pain and then numbness and then more pain. People...Meg and Shu screaming...

Her eyes snapped open again and dry lips parted to whisper "Shu."

A shot of adrenaline hit her heart and lit up her body like she'd been struck my lightning. She sat up sharply her body making a wet sucking noise as the suction of the mud tried to keep her down. Her eyes wildly scanning the area as the rain continued to pitter patter down irregularly.

She saw...trees. Too may trees too closely together to see for any great distance. A trench had appeared in the mud where she had been laying, sinking and now it was filling up with rainwater.

She felt a sharp pain in her stomach and doubled over arms wrapped around herself shuddering at the sharpness of it. A cold sweat broke out on her supple tender skin and was quickly mingled with the unforgiving rain.

"Shu." She whimpered tears squeezing out from her closed eyes. "Shuuuuuuu!" the second one sounded like a whine. Her eyes opened again and she gulped in some crisp air.

Her powers were at an all time low. She was practically mortal and it was more then she could stand. So she shoved those thoughts aside and took stock of the area. Trees, rocks...and an egg.

Her eyes settled on the egg instinctively knowing who's it was. She had no regret for her minion. Only disappointment that he wouldn't be of use to her in this new situation. Maybe he would be more agreeable in his next life.

A rumbling thunder warned that to remain out in the open was a fools plan and begrudgingly Fifi began to shift her body out of the mud and to her knees. The her hands and knees, then slowly, wobbly and weak to her feet. It was like watching a newborn deer try to stand.

Fifi hesitated, and opened her eyes slowly to look up at Shu. There was a long minute or so where her eyes were on Shu's and her expression was a mixture of embarrassment, respect, love, and then sighed and began to peel off her clothing. "Figures, Fifi gives ginger haired witch an inch and she takes all of Fifi's clothes. pervert."

Her own way of coping and co-operating with Meg.

"Succubus. Comes with the territory," Megaera snarked right back, as she carefully knelt down next to Fifi, starting to remove her gloves first, checking carefully along Fifi's hands for any injuries - even minor bruising.

Shu met Fifi's gaze with no emotion behind her own then proceeded to watch the two of them with cool disinterest.

The disinterest seemed to wilt Fifi and instead of any more smart comments or even idle complaints about the situation she just looked away sadly.

As if triggered by the depression, her body began to melt away. Curves became flat and clung to bones. Her legs shrank back and before they knew it, a freckled, awkward looking girl with buck teeth was laying before them. Fifi's last spark of magic had been snuffed by her misery and the enhancement spells that she always kept faded leaving her looking particularly silly and unimposing.

As Fifi's form shifted, Megaera remained calm, working each soaked piece of clothing off - now easier thanks to the shift in her form - until Fifi had only her underwear on.

Finally stopping, Megaera focused on Fifi's sprained foot. Reaching for her D-Comm, she quickly materialized several pieces of wood, tying them along the sprained foot at various points to immobilize it.

Then, she moved to the stomach wound. It was no longer through - far from it - but there was definite potential scarring. This time, she simply set a hand on the wound - checking to see if the touch hurt, and how much.

Shu watched Fifi coolly and without comment as she was reverted to her true self, but she couldn’t help raising her eyebrows at the changed girl infront of her.

Once the witch was stripped, Shu ran her eyes over miserable form, gaze filled with judgement, scowling each time she spotted any imperfections and marks.

If Fifi was feeling any physical pain she didn't show it. Instead she looked frightened and nervous, like a more awkward looking Tiffany as she felt Shu's eyes picking her apart. A shiver raced through her and she whimpered and looked ashamed. "Fifi hates this form." she muttered positively dripping with a self loathing the likes of which the usually proud and vain witch would never even consider.

Finally, Megaera felt comfortable that Fifi's injuries would recover.

"It'll be easiest to try to not think about it tonight. You both need to rest... Once you've both slept, I think we can safely move - using flight magic to avoid stressing that ankle - and find a lightpost."

She reached for her D-Reader. "It's not much, but..."

Then, several scanned items appeared. Two large pieces of canvas. Some blankets. Some pillows. Quickly, Megaera placed one canvas on the rough floor, laying the blankets and pillows into a makeshift bed.

The other, on the other hand, she folded in half, moving to just on the mouth side of the bed.

"... Just a half block to cover you against the wind."

She paused, looking at Shu and Fifi's reaction...

Shuensha didn't say a word, looking at the arrangement, she just curled up tighter on her make shift rock pedestal and glared at the two girls, lips twitching into a scowl.

Fifi whimpered barely noticing the changes as well, and feeling foolish that she hadn't been as well prepared.

"P-please Shuensha...tell Fifi your desires. Fifi can't...can't stand to suffer this way any longer. To see you unhappy is to destroy Fifi's heart and Soul." Reduced to begging by utter silence.

"Miss Asakura... Please, speak some. We need to be sure you're okay, too..."

Megaera looked towards the younger girl, perhaps a bit worried... But also a bit annoyed at how her behavior was affecting Fifi's state.

“Do not ever tell me what to do.” Shu finally said, snapping at Megaera. Her voice was cracked with bubbling anger and horse from disuse.

“You left.” She spat out the words brutally, with cold intent. “Both of you.”

Fifi's breath caught in her now flat chest. She was as pale as if she'd been drained of her blood and fell forward groveling at Shu's rock throne. "Fifi is so sorry! Fifi didn't mean to! Fifi would never leave her Shu like that willingly."

"Fifi is pathetic and weak! Not strong enough, but she will get stronger please, please forgive your Fifi! Please allow her to make penance!" Any trace of the proud witch that once was is long gone.

Shuensha's reaction, rather than seeming to pacify Megaera or weaken her, turned her previous look of concern into annoyance.

"... So that's how you're gonna react? Do you know why we left, Shuensha?"

It had been many, many months since Megaera used that name... Let alone in any semblance of anger.

Fifi could feel the force in Megaera's personality - as if a dam of emotions were suddenly cracking.

Shuensha glared at Megaera, scowling at her defiance, cold eyes judging her.

"Enlighten me."

"Because, with the injury she's suffered, Tiffany was very likely to go into shock. Even with my healing - which by the way was painful to use - another hit from one of those things would have killed her. And as a result, me."

Megaera's tone was icy, and she matched Shu's gaze unhesitantly.

"So you left." Shu finished for her, brisk and sharp, like the crunch of fresh snow and just as cold.

"Would you have rathered that we died?"

Megera's annoyance was obviously growing stronger, and quickly, given how testy her words were becoming.

"Don't be stupid." Shuensha's tone matched Megaeras in annoyance.

"Really? You seem very annoyed at my reasoning, as if I should have put me and Tiffany's immediate safety before continuing to fight. I think it very clear that we left because we had to - and because there was not more we could do."

"I'm sure Meggy did exactly what she thought was needed."

Shuensha was scowling in a way reminiscent of a cat bearing it's fangs threateningly.

"Would you have preferred I put myself and Fifi at greater risk to ask your opinion, then?", Megaera asked. "Is our taking initiative that anger-inducing to you?"

Shuensha refused to speak to Megaera again, instead she turned her cruel gaze back to Fifi.

Fifi had been incapacitated by the conflicting emotions of the two girls and her own swirling about in her chest like a tsunami. Finally when Shu's eyes found her she burst out "FIFI Didn't want to die!" Tears streaming down the once perfect fave, "Fifi was afraid of leaving her Shu forever! A fate worse then hell itself! Fifi didn't want to leave Shu! never Never never wants to leave Shu! If it had been up to Fifi..." She paused to catch her breath as the panic attack started to set in again.

"F-fifi would have trusted Shu t-to keep her safe." She whimpered and cringed as if awaiting a fresh blow to her heart.

Megaera felt Fifi's sadness - her emotions exploding in sadness - but kept her focus on Shu.

"... Shuensha? Is it worth it?"
