[Dark Area Village Liberation]
Who: Folks in this thread, Virus Busters, Dark Area citizens, others
What: Rescuing Dark Area citizens from the hands of the Virus Busters.
When: A few days after Ivan's post here. Let us say around June 10th. Regardless, backdated.
Where: Dark Area, near its border to the Poyi Mountains
Lightly occupied was something of a relative term, really. For those approaching the occupied villages, they would find them pretty well fortified and surrounded by Virus Buster forces. Among them were, as would be expected, many knight-like Digimon in their numbers, as well as various sorts of assorted holy types.
Their security was strong.
Their formations were tight.
More than anything else, though...
They knew to expect company.
[OOC - And we're moving! Please make sure to go by instructions provided within the Green and Red Tags. :) ]

[VILLAGE ONE, DISTRACTION TEAM]
Re: [VILLAGE ONE, DISTRACTION TEAM]
As he hovered over the village he and his men had been ordered to occupy, he felt a tiny twinge of disappointment that everything was going so well. Everything was tightly regimented, with more than enough soldiers for every filthy Dark Area digimon in this wretched little hive.
AeroV-dramon almost wished things would be a little bit more chaotic. That something would happen... anything would happen that would give him an excuse to sate the lust he had for combat. To bring judgement to these filthy demonic wretches.
But all he could do now was wait. Defend this hive from potential invaders, until this frontier area was secure. Secure being relative of course; this village was densely packed with soldiers as is, and the lack of "security" came from the distance they were from further reinforcements.
He was beyond this. He was more than just a simple babysitter. He was a winged master of the battlefield. He deserved better...

Re: [VILLAGE ONE, DISTRACTION TEAM]
This went on for several moments, while a crimson Digmon, a man crouched on his back, flew down towards the earth using the bombardment as cover.
"Alright, get yourselves to the ground!" he barked over his D-Comm. "The moment our cannon fire stops, these guys are going to be pissed. And that's just how we want them! Be ready to engage them and keep all attention on us! Don't give them time to use the village as a shield, and give 'em every reason to come out here and try to kick our asses!"
If they didn't already have means of flight between either them or their partners handy, Simon had provided anyone who needed it with a set of White Wings. Having ties to organizations that couldn't yet set foot down here did have its advantages...
Re: [VILLAGE ONE, DISTRACTION TEAM]
Re: [VILLAGE ONE, DISTRACTION TEAM]
Gaogamon held his attacks for now, simply howling as if to urge the attack charge.
Re: [VILLAGE ONE, DISTRACTION TEAM]
Re: [VILLAGE ONE, DISTRACTION TEAM]
Her Makuramon partner was screaming with piercing fear as he fumbled and flung explosive crystal balls left and right without presence of mind to aim.
That was OK though because Haruko could steer the Vespa directly into whatever enemy dared to come at them.
They were sure making enough noise though.
Re: [VILLAGE ONE, DISTRACTION TEAM]
Kulon, meanwhile, was a Lighdramon charging alone the ground and letting off Thunder Blade attacks at the enemy. The White Wings that he had been given were stored in the D-Comm, Junk having convinced both Sadamitsu and Kulon that it would be better if there was someone on the ground as well as in the air to split the enemy's attention even more. If Kulon needed to fly, Junk would be able to have the D-Comm realize them without needing to distract Sadamitsu.
Re: [VILLAGE ONE, DISTRACTION TEAM]
She's a close ranged fighter. So until the distraction gets a counter from Omegamon's forces here, she'll be at the ready.
Re: [VILLAGE ONE, DISTRACTION TEAM]
"Oops, sorry~" Hao chuckled as he hopped off the Digimon's back, while the fire slowly died down.

[VILLAGE ONE, RESCUE TEAM]
Re: [VILLAGE ONE, RESCUE TEAM]
All around this area were Virus Busters; some of them Angemon, some of them V-dramon, who served to keep these digimon corralled... and anyone from the outside getting in.
Re: [VILLAGE ONE, RESCUE TEAM]
Please let the Team Leader - in this case Yukio - tag in to lead the way before tagging, then after that go at it.]
Re: [VILLAGE ONE, RESCUE TEAM]
They villagers had been corralled into the center of the village; which made it easier to find them all but with how they were guarded, it was a set back. Yukio quickly planned out their next moves and opened communication on the D-Comms.
"We need to work quick but silently. Each team needs to draw members of the guard away from their posts and incapacitate them. Do so as fast as you can. Those who are ranged fighters can take shots at them to draw their attention and use your melee attackers when they get close. Once the way is name, we go in and use the doctor's rings to get all those people up into the Halbert. Go." Yukio cut the transmission and quickly loaded two clips into his guns. One with bullets, the other with tranqs. Knocking the digimon would be faster than defeating them completely. They needed to work quickly, however. There was no telling how long the distraction team could hold out.
Re: [VILLAGE ONE, RESCUE TEAM]
The spiders that made up her form shifted without revealing their true nature and she grew larger, broader. Her skin turned pale and wings sprouted forth.
A mighty Angemon stood where Arrow had once been. That should make it easier to slip amongst the enemy and help things along.
Re: [VILLAGE ONE, RESCUE TEAM]
Once they found it safe enough, they sprung their attack, with Nia evolving her partner and Death-X Dorugamon attacking with the iron ball at the end of his tail, attempting to knock out two V-dramon.
Re: [VILLAGE ONE, RESCUE TEAM]
Once he had it, he and Ryuudamon took to it, slipping into the shadows. A quick evolution to Ginryuumon, and Zero rode atop his partner's back. As Ginryuumon dashed between buildings, Zero kept his buster trained and armed. Every time he had a clear shot, he took it, firing Digi-Soul covered blasts at Virus Buster personnel.
Just enough to catch their attention.
Zero's other hand rested on the hilt of his Z-Saber, ever ready. The moment something was close enough...
Well.
Anyone who caught direct sight of him? He wasn't going to give them the opportunity to go back and tell his superiors that this DATS officer was down in the thick of things, instead of "watching" Asakura as he'd been assigned.

The commander for this particular village was a Cyberdramon, who repeatedly patrolled the outskirts of his village personally, along with his own cadre of subordinates.
Like his fellow commander AeroV-dramon in another village, Cyberdramon was eager to get things done. But his claws had been stayed by Omegamon himself; he was not to execute the prisoners yet. And it was not his position to question his supreme commander.
